Friends of Cleves are a dedicated group of staff, parents and people from the local community trying to inspire children to learn and help young people to reach their full potential. We engage young people in constructive activities that build safe, strong communities.
We use the local community and school to encourage learning and promote healthy lifestyles that will make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and their families. Any help that could be given would be very much appreciated by the Friends of Cleves, the children and local community.
NEWS

- Spare coppers for the bottle in Reception.
- Unwanted gifts.
- Looking for major donations for school stage and light system. If your company can help, please write to Friends of Cleves, Cleves Primary School, Arragon Road, East Ham, London, E6 1QP.
- Mobile Phones
The Friends of Cleves are currently raising money for a stage curtains at Cleves Primary School. You can help raise money for this project by donating your old or unwanted mobile phones. Please search high and low for any mobile phones you may have, regardless of age or condition as every phone is worth something to us. Ask family members, friends and colleagues if they have any unwanted mobile phones, you will be surprised at how many people have handsets hidden away in drawers and desks. The handsets do not have to be working and no chargers are required. Please hand your mobile phones into the school reception or to your class teacher. Thank you for your donations! - The Giving Machine
Participating online shops pay The Giving Machine a sales commission for directing shoppers to them. We convert these commissions into free donations to the shops or school of choice. It only takes 2 minutes to sign up and start giving to Cleves Primary School.
All donations will be spent on a School Stage, so please help us. This does not cost you anything. You can see Bob Horton or Annette Massey-Reed on how to sign up.
- The Giving Machine has raised £160.54.
When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources. Recycling reduces the need for extracting/refining/processing raw material all of which create substantial air and water pollution. As recycling saves energy, it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions which helps to tackle climate change and will help the future generations to come.
